ATSF-TPW westward extra coal

The westward extra of coal operates every other day from Coal City / Braidwood (ATSF staging) to TP&W East Peoria Yard (TP&W staging).  From there it is delivered to the Wallace power station in East Peoria, IL. 

• Sign register at ATSF staging on departure.
• Remember to stay out of the way of any eastward 1st class trains, and any westward 1st and 2nd class trains.
• Before continuing on to the next town make sure you have enough time to get there, and that you are likely to have an open siding available to you.
• At Pekin Junction, take the TPW main into TPW staging (East Peoria) and terminate there.
